2026 CVRD Accessibility Plan Survey
The Cowichan Valley Regional District (CVRD) is creating an Accessibility Plan to identify, remove, and prevent barriers to access in all CVRD spaces, programs, and services. We are asking for community feedback to make sure that the Accessibility Plan reflects the diverse needs of people living, working, and playing in the CVRD.
The Cowichan Valley Regional District requires an Accessibility Plan to address region-wide services, infrastructure, facilities, and spaces that fall outside of municipal boundaries.
The survey will help us understand:
- What accessibility means to you
- What barriers you may have faced in CVRD-operated spaces, programs, and services, and what actions the CVRD can take to remove these barriers
- Positive experiences of how accessible buildings, or programs in the region have enhanced your life
There are 15 survey questions about accessibility, and four optional demographic questions. You can answer for yourself or as a caregiver.
Feedback will be combined and summarized to help identify overall themes.
