The CVRD is preparing a Management Plan for Old Baldy Mountain Park to guide the future care, stewardship, and improvement of the park over the next 10 to 15 years.
During Phase 1 engagement, the community shared what they value about the park, current concerns, and ideas for future improvements. This input, along with technical information and ongoing planning work, has been used to prepare a Draft Management Plan.
The Old Baldy Mountain Park Draft Management Plan establishes a long-term vision, management goals, and recommended actions to support responsible non-motorized outdoor recreation, ecological restoration, park stewardship, and future improvements to trails, access, and visitor amenities.
Phase 2 engagement was conducted from May 19 to June 10, 2026. Community members were invited to review the draft plan, confirm whether it reflected the input received during Phase 1, and identify priorities for future implementation.
Feedback received during Phase 2 has been reviewed and used to finalize the Old Baldy Mountain Park Management Plan. A summary of the engagement results and the final Park Management Plan will be presented to the Electoral Area Services Committee on July 15, 2026, for consideration and recommendation to the CVRD Board.

Your feedback will help refine the final Management Plan before it is brought forward for consideration by the CVRD Board.

The survey will take approximately 10-15 minutes to complete and will remain open until June 10, 2026. It is recommended that you open the Old Baldy Mountain Park Draft Management Plan for review as prompted by some of the survey questions.
